Beauty Haul & Review

Pay day came and i decided to get myself some new bits I've been dying to try!

1: Make up forever Aqua brow,
I had high expectations for this, I thought it would be waterproof, as the name is Aqua brow?
But it does fade off if you don't set it with powder so don't expect to go swimming and still have it there, hehe.
It is good if you want a light natural eyebrow. The formula is like a gel consistently, a little goes a long way, but I definitely have to use a powder or pencil with it to get a good fuller look with it.
price: €20

A beauty blender is definitely a "must have" in every girls collection, I don't know why I didn't get this a long time ago! i tried so many types of beauty blender but this beats them all and i know why now. The original beauty blender company own the rights to the fibres so no other company can make one exactly like this. Which is what makes it so unique, be warned though it will never look clean again after the first use of makeup application. I wash it every time after I use it and it remains stained, no biggie though, still does the job. If you have a full cover foundation and you want to sheer it out, a damp beauty blender is perfect for the flawless application. I mainly use it for bleeding out my cream contours and using the tip to set my under eyes with brightening powder.
Price: €20

Mac pigment in Blue brown is amazing, it is a gorgeous purple bronze with flexes of blue in it. Just go into mac and swatch it and you will understand! You don't need a lot and i recommend using a spray like fix plus to apply it and a good primer so you get the real intensity of it on your lids. Will definitely be picking up more pigments from mac!
Price: €25

Makeup For Ever Skin Equalizer, a skin base that comes in a range of colours and types, theres green, pink, and the yellow one i got for colour correcting. This yellow one is to cancel out the redness I get in my cheeks or under my nose.
It doesn't make too much of a difference to be honest, and doesn't make makeup last all day or make a good difference to the finish of your foundation. Not necessary for priming your face. Worth it ? Nope. I returned this item just a few days after using it.
Price: €33

Mac lip pencil in "Oak"
All mac lip pencils are great and they last a long time. They have so many shades to choose from, love all their nudes, this one is oak and goes lovely under a nude lip or gloss.
Price: €17

Laura mercer secret brightening powder: The name says it all. It really does brighten your eyes. A little goes a long way but if you want you could use a bit more for a more obvious under eye highlight. Goes perfectly under concealer, doesn't look cake or dry at all. The powder looks like it has shimmer in it but it isn't noticeable under the eyes on the skin at all. No flash back when photographed. Their translucent setting powder is also really good for setting the face overall. Will be purchasing this over and over again!
Price: €28

Jimmy Choo, IllICIT perfume. If you're looking for something that smells like your fabric softener but a bit sexy at the same time, this is it ladies. You feel so clean and elegant with this on your skin. You can get the set with the cream as well which isn't that much more expensive if not its the same price as the normal 60ml bottle. Perfume lingers all day and stays on your clothes until you wash it off!
Price:  €75

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade.
This is worth the hype, it so pigmented and a tiny bit goes a long way so be careful! It's extremely creamy but I would set it with a powder at the same time to ensure it stays all day! It will probably last me all year or longer!
You can purchase her products at CultBeauty online.
Price: €18

Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Gel:
I thought this product would change my eyebrow game but sadly not, its nothing spectacular i have tried much better eyebrow gels. Such as the one from benefit that makes your hair look defined and separated and gives it a more full look. I really wanted this gel and I to have a good relationship you know? Moving on.
Price: €18

The balm : Meet Matte Trimony
Have you ever wanted a pallete with just matte eyeshadows? HERE IT IS, OMG! the excitement i felt when i seen this pallete was better than when you see your food coming towards you in a restaurant. It lived up to my hopes, pigmented, matte and smooth.
The colours are everything you need for day and night looks. The black though? BLACKEST BLACK ever! The mirror on it is phenomenal as well btw. Every girl needs it wether they like it or nah.
Price: €53

Nars Laguna Bronzer Review

Ive been dying to trying this bronzer! After hearing so much hype about it, i was delighted to finally purchase it and try it out for myself! It cost €36, quite pricey but i feel like it is worth and will last a long time! So far, ive been using it for a few weeks and I love it! It is great for an all over bronzed glow, it does contain shimmer but isn't noticable on the skin. It gives a natural bronzed look when applied right. I reccomend using a light hand and a good bronzer or blush brush. I use the real techniques blush brush and apply to the hallows of the cheeks and temples. It is long lasting and natural. It comes in 3 shades. Laguna (lightest shade), irrsistiblement (medium shade) and casino (darkest shade). So one of them should be suitable for your skin tone! I definitely reccomend trying it on in store first. It is not cakey or drying, its perfect for that natural bronzed look! I just think it takes a little practise when applying. Use a light hand and slowly build up the product, blending it in where ever you wish to be bronzed!

Real techniques blush brush

you can purchase real techinques brushes in boots for £9.99. They have a range of brushes that are so high quality and affordable, i will do a more in dept review on more of their brushes soon! I definitely reccommend each one of their brushes.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this quick review!

instant glowy skin!

Hi guys! today i'm going to do another review, on the benefit "watt'sup!" highlighter.

This highlighter is perfect! I am in love! It's so creamy and makes your skin glow instantly! It's long lasting and easily blendible! Its so pigmented, a little goes a long way, its got an amazing sheen that reflects the light, making you look healthy and glowing! The perfect highlighter in my opinion!

The packaging is so pretty! It comes in a stick form, which i like and you can glide it onto your cheeks directly or you can take some by your finger! Simply twist and glide on to your cheeks for an amazing glow! It even has a blending applicator on the other end of the stick, to help blend the product into your skin, for a natural look!

It dries matte but its still as glowy as ever, without being too overbearing! use a light hand and blend! It is suitable for all skin types in my opinion and every skin tone! its a champagne colour so it is even better for the yellow and darker skin tones!
It is £24.50, but its totally worth it! A little goes a long way and im sure it will last a long time! Definitely worth the investment and i highly reccomend it if you are looking for a natural yet pigmented highligher to lift your skin without looking too cakey or dry!

M.A.C Paint Pot Review

I love these m.a.c paint pots! I got one in the shade "groundwork" It is so creamy and highly pigmented! This is a matte brown colour, perfect as a base under your eyeshadow, or on its own on the eyelid. I also use it in my eyebrows as a base before filling my eyebrows in with matte brown eyeshadow.
They come in 19 shades! They have gorgeous nudes to deep blues , purples and black.
They help your eyeshadow stay on longer and not crease! The packaging is a glass pot with a plastic black lid. Its not a big pot, but the product itself, lasts a long time as you dont need a lot!
I also love that its not too expensive, it's £14.50, which I think is a reasonable price!
I definitely recommend this product, there are loads of shades to choose from!
Nothing negative to say!

CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE, perfume dupe

Chanel perfumes smell divine! Shame that they are not in everyones price range! including myself.
This is one of the perfumes that I quickly fell in love with at the counter, but never purchased because it's so expensive! This perfume ranges from £48-95, depending on what size you buy. I left the counter wishing I could have it.

Well little did I know that there was a dupe for it, which smells exactly the same, but for WAY cheaper!

Can you believe this is only £3.50!! It smells the exact same as the CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE. This is called Suddenly madame glamour.
The scent is described as oriental fresh jasmine-rose accord as light as a petal. This scent is beautiful for women and young ladies. Its "elagent" but still makes you feel "sexy". Perfection!  Still smells luxurious while not doing damage to your bank account like the original CHANEL perfume. This perfume is made from a german company, and sold in a supermarket called LIDL, in Europe. It is long lasting, dont spray too much though, one or two sprays is enough. Suddenly madame glamour is a bit stronger scented than the CHANEL one, but I think that is a good thing because it will linger for longer!  The packaging is similar in shape and the cap, with the rose gold coloured perfume inside, but what can you expect for such an insane price difference! You would expect CHANEL  to be expensive as it is such a classic brand.
I definitely recommend going to lidl and buying this perfume if you can! Its SO affordable and smells exactly the same as CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE.

velvet matte lips

Hey guys! Im sorry I haven't posted a review in a good while but I'm back and i'm still trying out new products to review, although today im gonna do a quick review, on "Nars velvet matte lip crayons"
You guys may have noticed how much I love my lipsticks! So when i seen this I was really intrigued, "velvet and matte", how does that make sense? Well, the formula is very creamy, but on the lips it is a matte lip colour as it claims to be. It is £17.50. Is it worth it? Definitely! This is in the shade "bahama". It is what it claims to be! The colour is so pigmented, a little goes a long way! It is matte, but it doesn't make your lips look dry and cracked.  It is build-able, and has great staying power! On the Nars website, it does say there are "unique silicones" in the ingredients to ensure long lasting and rich colour pay off.  It also has vitamin E in it so that's why it's moisturising! This is so easy and quick to apply. So convenient to have, its not messy. Amazing because it lines your lips at the same time. There are 18 beautiful vibrant shades! Gorgeous everyday nudes to deep, dark reds and berries!  The only small downside to this is that you need to buy or have a sharpener. As it is a crayon, but its not a big problem and I've no complaints about this product! I love it so much and will be buying more shades! You can get this at any Nars counter and on the website!
