Best mascara for short eyelashes!

I've been trying out these mascaras for a good while now. There are two from the drugstore/pharmacy and three from the more expensive brand/counters. I haven't got the longest or fullest lashes but one of these mascaras make my eyelashes look amazing, full and long! I'm going to review each one. Ill leave the best one for last ;)
"Bad gal lash by benefit"

This mascara is £16.50. It is good for length. It doesn't dry out in the bottle quickly. The brush is okay, good for building up the product. Although it can transfer onto your eyelid if you aren't careful. It doesn't give a lot of volume for short eyelashes, it may be better for longer lashes. I dont think it is worth the price for me personally, as i can get something similar in the drugstore/pharmacy for much cheaper. It is not waterproof, and doesn't hold the curl very well. It applies wet and needs a good minute or two to dry, so be careful not to sneeze or smudge it by accident!

A cheaper alternative to that mascara is this " loreal voluminous carbon black x5" mascara.
You can purchase this mascara in the drugstore/pharmacy for around £7-8. It is slightly "voluminous" more so lengthening. Not water proof, good for bottom lashes and people who have long lashes to begin with. It is good for separating the lashes, it isn't very clumpy. I like it for the bottom eyelashes only. The brush is a good size and is good for coating all the eyelashes.

"Benefit they're real mascara"

This is a really popular mascara. Although, it didn't live up to my expectations & it was £18.50.  It isn't the best for short eyelashes. It is good in some ways, it isn't water proof but it dries like a water proof mascara as it is hard to take off! The brush coats the eyelashes nicely. It gives an even amount of length and volume, but didn't hold the curl well for me. I like it for the bottom lashes, if you can see, there is a ball shape at the end of the brush applicator that really gets into your eyelashes and is good for separating! For the price, I dont think it is worth it. Again, there are many drugstore/pharmacy alternatives.

"Lancôme hypnôse mascara"

Again, its just like the previous ones, nothing too special, packaging is nice, price is £22. It is good for length and some volume. Not waterproof, have to wait till it sets, prone to smudging. It can get clumpy. I dont think it is worth the price. It didn't live up to the hype for me. I like it for bottom lashes again. Very Good for separating the lashes.

So the winner is,

"Maybelline falsies volume express mascara (waterproof)"

As you can tell, it has the biggest brush applicator. It is £7.99. The best mascara I have ever tried. It is the mascara i am wearing in the picture. I really dont have long thick eyelashes, but this definitely gives that false lash effect! It is waterproof so it holds the curl all day! Can be clumpy, but this mascara gets away with it because it gives so much length and volume! I use it on top and bottom eyelashes. I curl my lashes and build about 2-3 coats. It can be a bit difficult to take off, but with a good eyemakeup remover it comes off fine! It separates the lashes nicely. I recommend everyone to go and try it! It wont break the bank account! So affordable and really does what it says. I think it would work even better on long lashes. Does a really nice favor for us short eyelash girls! I cant apply false eyelashes for my life, but I dont need to with this mascara! Love it!

Thanks for reading! hope you liked it!
disclaimer: I was not sent these products or paid to review them. My honest opinion!
